I live in Hamilton where there is a program called the Trillium Award. I took it for granted that I would never get one, that it was just impossible, until a friend of mine got one. Then slowly I let the idea that maybe I could win one too, sneak into my mind. So, far I have been right and I haven't won one of those small white plastic trilliums but some people have actually stopped and said, "your yard is looking a lot better".
Everything hinges on getting husband to work a lot harder. I'm the idea person and am always thinking, but he doesn't always keep up. Why don't I do more work? That's a story for another day.
